Janelle Kandrach, Supervisor

A graduate of the University of Phoenix, Janelle has a B.S. in Accounting. She has been with Knight Rolleri Sheppard CPAS, LLP since 2006 and has much experience working with individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

Her extensive accounting knowledge in an asset to our clients as well her proficiency with QuickBooks. She provides our clients with accounting and auditing services, tax preparation and planning services, bookkeeping and accounting software implementation, and sales tax services.  Her involvement in various projects and consulting services has made her knowledgeable in tax and accounting matters.

Jayme L. Rahmsdorf, EA, Supervisor

Jayme is a Senior Accountant with Knight Rolleri Sheppard CPAS LLP. Jayme graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2012 with a BBA in both Accounting and Business Management. She began her career with our firm in January 2013.

She is a federally-authorized tax practitioner and she is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service; also known as an Enrolled Agent (EA). She is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the Connecticut Society of Enrolled Agents. Also, she is candidate for the CPA exam, which she plans to sit for in the future.

As a Senior Accountant and EA, Jayme is well versed in tax and accounting matters. She has experience in working with high net worth individuals, privately held companies, and not-for-profits. Jayme is involved in many projects ranging from customized tax planning to dealing with complex IRS matters. Her well rounded knowledge has earned her a reputation of a skilled advisor for her clients.

James F. Giordano, CPA

James has practiced in Fairfield for approximately 40 years.He began his Accounting Career at the University of Bridgeport. There he studied Accounting for two years. While attending college he worked in the Accounting Department at the Bullard Company in Bridgeport.

He then joined the United States Army during WW II. He was stationed in Washing DC at Fort McNair Army War College. There he served in the Ordnance Department. After receiving his Master Sargeant status in the service he left Washington to reside in Fairfield, Connecticut.

While in Connecticut he traveled to New York City and worked in the Accounting Department of U.S. Hoffman Machine Corporation. James continued his career working as the Accountant in The United Pattern Shop in Bridgeport. In about 1962 he rented office space in Heritage Square and opened his own practice as a Public Accountant. Twenty years later he moved to the Mercurio Building and set up his office in the very rooms that he grew up in as a young boy.

In 2010 the Connecticut Society of Accountants Grandfathered all ( 8 of them) practicing Public Accountants and awarded them the Title of Certified Public Accountants.

James comes to Knight, Rolleri, Sheppard, CPAS, LLP with a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of Accounting including but not limited to Tax Returns for Individuals, Corporate, Partnerships, and Estates.

During those years he has experienced a lasting association with all of his clients. He belongs to the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Fairfield Kiwanis Club.

Jessica Erlingheuser, CPA, Senior Tax Accountant

Jessica graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2009 with a B.S. in accounting and later received her Masters in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Hartford in 2017. Jessica is a Certified Public Accountant who is experienced in high net worth individuals, as well as partnership and trust income tax returns and projections, among other tax services.

Before joining the firm, Jessica started her career at McGladrey LLP (now RSM US LLP) and continued her experience as a tax manager at Marcum LLP where she gained valuable experience in tax compliance, research, and interaction with federal, state and local taxing authorities. She was also involved in various community outreach programs. Jessica enjoys building relationships with her clients and is looking forward to meeting and talking to the clients, as well as becoming involved in the Fairfield community.

David Severino, CPA, Senior Accountant

David is a CPA. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in

1991 with a B.S. in accounting. He has many years of public accounting experience providing accounting and tax services for individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Brian D. Faynor, CPA, Senior Accountant

Brian graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2013 with a BBA in Finance, with a Minor in Accounting.

Bryan I. Coutermash, Staff Accountant

Bryan graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2014 with a BS in Business Administration/Concentration in Accounting. He has passed all four parts of the Uniform CPA Examination, and is currently working on the experience required for licensure. Bryan started with Knight Rolleri Sheppard CPAs, LLP in 2016.

Richard Rolleri, Para-Professional

After spending many years in the restaurant business Richard started with Knight, Rolleri, Sheppard, CPAS, LLP in July 1993. Richard is part of our in-house bookkeeping and payroll staff. He is proficient in QuickBooks and handles many of our bookkeeping clients.

Darlene M. Knight, Para-Professional

A graduate of Fairfield University with a BA degree in Finance. Darlene was with IBM for 10 years where she was the manager for the service division.

Darlene has been with Knight Rolleri Sheppard CPAS, LLP since its inception. She is responsible for all billing and accounts payables.

Diane F. Mayo, Para-Professional

Diane graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Fairfield University. She retired in 2007 after teaching for 32 years. Since 2007 Diane has been specializing in the following areas of accounting. She has been doing client write-ups, reconciling bank statements, setting up and performing on line services for clients including completing Sales Tax Returns, paying Withholding Taxes for the Federal Government and the State Government and filing Quarterly Returns. She also prepares Individual Tax Returns. She is responsible with assisting our clients with bookkeeping and tax returns. Diane hopes to sit for the Enrolled Agent Exam in the future.

Randi S. Weinstein, CPA, Para-Professional

Randi received her B.S. in Management with a concentration in Marketing from Binghamton University before gaining her M.B.A. in Accounting from Hofstra Univeristy. Randi earned her CPA while working as an Auditor for Deloitte & Touche LLP, both in the New York and Atlanta offices. While in Atlanta, Randi had the opportunity to work in the Finance Department as a Budget Analyst for the US Atlanta Olympic Committee during the 1996 Olympic Games. Upon closing down operations, Randi moved back to the Northeast and worked for many years in the Finance Department for Unilever. More recently Randi has worked with two of our clients, Fairport Capital, Inc., a Broker-Dealer Corporation, and for Dujardin Design Associates, Inc., an Interior Design Company, as a Bookkeeper/Office Manager. Her current responsibilities will be to represent Knight Rolleri Sheppard CPAS, LLP as a Para-Professional, providing excellent bookkeeping and management services with expectations to grow into providing assistance with audit services.

Jody Irwin, Para-Professional

Jody graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources and Marketing. She is proficient in QuickBooks and will be responsible in helping our clients with their bookkeeping needs.

Autumn Sheppard, Para-Professional

Autumn is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education. She is proficient is MS Office and QuickBooks. She assists our clientele with their bookkeeping needs.
